The idea here was a thing that appears like a labyrinth (in the strict sense), but turns out to be a maze with many parts, loops and maybe even Klein-style geometries.
Arrangement-wise, the solo voice is the protagonist (using a quantized random walk), the shifting maze is the polysynth parts (with its polymetric structure), and everything else that makes the experience confusing is impersonated by the percussive parts.
This contribution is also the first time that I used my large #Spielsachen modular setup, dubbed the "TNG Mothership" for Music Weeklies.
